As you walk into the pine forest of Green Resort, you begin to discover a story, that of a family rooted in this land, who loves it wildly and shares it with passion. By walking the sandy paths around the space, you will probably meet Patrick the owner, a child of the country, who has traveled the world to better return to Ondres, swollen with Gascon pride, accompanied by his Dutch wife Querine, and his two children Gabin and Floriaan, citizens of the world and tenderly Landais in the heart. For them, to present the village, the region, so it’s a bit like telling the one we love, adorning the features of his personality of the finery and combining his charms in a thousand facets. It is with this ardor that the whole team of Green Resort wishes you to discover the different personalities of this village of Ondres.
The breath of the ocean
Ideally wedged between the Landes coast and the Basque Country, Ondres is an exceptional surfing destination (see Landes de Terre de Surf!) Starting point for shining towards the most legendary spots in the world of skiing, everything here exudes salt adrenaline from Ondres, you can also participate in the many events of the world surfing calendar, such as international competitions QuicksilverPro and Roxy Pro, where the surfing elite compete with local figures like are Joan Duru, native of Ondres and Pauline Ado of Bayonne for example.
And for those who do not (yet) belong to the tribe of surfers, you will immediately be seduced by this wild environment with dunes as far as the eye can see and a beach of fine sand extended over two kilometers between the neighboring communities of Labenne and Tarnos. The beach is sometimes considered dangerous because of its strong currents of baïnes, but the surveillance is assured from June 16th to September 16th, and even if it is necessary to remain vigilant, the experienced lifeguards lifeguards will know to inform you and to make sure your security.
